A Case of Fibrosarcomatous Meningioina of Right Frontal Lobe

Abstract

|
A 18 year-old korean girl was admitted to P. N. U. H. with complaints of headache and epileptic seizure with frequency of once a month since one year ago , May 1961.
X-ray study of the skull including cerebral angiography revealed a space occupying lesion at right frontal lobe.
On surgery a goose egg sized hard tumor on the right frontal lobe was found and removed. Histological study of the tumor revealed fibro-sarcomatous change of meningeal origin with
uniform cellular parenchyma without pleomorphism and with less vascularity and stroma.
The patient has been well and free of seizures and headache since the surgery in May 1962
until now, Nov. 1963.
